Psychology Week is an annual initiative of the Australian Psychological Society that aims to increase public awareness of how psychology can help Australians lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.
Thriving in the digital age
In 2017 the Australian Psychological Society (APS) is continuing the Compass for Life campaign, to help Australians improve their happiness and wellbeing by promoting Ways to Thrive.
This year the focus will be Thriving in the digital age.
During #psychweek, the APS will publish results from a national survey measuring the impact of technology and social media on the wellbeing, self-image and life satisfaction of Australians. The findings from the survey form the basis of a national media campaign.
The APS invites members and the public to participate by hosting or attending events, sharing their own successful #waystothrive via social media, as well as downloading and sharing resources and content from this site.
We will be regularly adding to content to the site as we count down to Psychology Week 2017.
